Here at Charterhouse Club, we pride ourselves on quality of customer service. To achieve this, we recognise the need to invest heavily in staff training & personnel development to ensure the whole team are able to provide a consistent, high quality service at all times. This investment resulted in the Club being awarded Investor in People accreditation in December 2005

During all opening hours there are members of staff who are highly first aid trained - including training in the use of the defibrillator. Because we believe that first aid and pool lifeguard skills deteriorate if not practised regularly, we have ongoing training programme to provide this opportunity. This training includes mock ups of real life emergency scenarios.

Our policies on staff development also mean that we are regularly investing in further training for staff. Not only does this give them the opportunity to learn new skills, it also means that we are able to have motivated and skilled people on the team.
