Class Descriptions
Studio Cycling
Studio Cycling is a high intensity session that combines cardio and endurance in one calorie crunching session! Not only is it great for giving you all the cardiovascular muscles to make you super strong.
Dance Fit
Slide, sway, shimmy & sweat your way to fitness. This cardiovascular workout is creative and an abundance of fun which means it doesn’t even feel like a workout. Different styles & range of music keeps it fresh.
Body Blast
Body blast incorporates many forms of dance to music. It is an aerobic workout, divided into different tracks that provide peaks and troughs of intensity. The overall intensity of a class varies on the style you are doing.
Total Body Conditioning
Total body conditioning combines cardio and resistance work to an energetic beat to work out your whole body. With a range of exercise techniques that includes aerobics, floor work, weights, and resistance training, you’re guaranteed a varied class that will hit those areas that other workouts miss.
HIIT
High Intensity Interval training targeting all muscle groups my using both body weight & equipment. Put your body to the test and challenging yourself with a varied training methods each week, guaranteed to make you sweat.
Yoga
Both mind & body conditioning on a yoga mat. By helping to rebalance your body, you will achieve the perfect balance of strength & flexibility. A yoga class uses physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve overall health. The ultimate goal of yoga is to achieve control over the body and mind, leading to harmony, balance, and self-awareness.
Pilates
Pilates will help you to find, understand, and maintain better posture. Within this class, you will learn how to breathe more efficiently and improve your core stability. Every movement is performed mindfully, with precision and control making it a very safe and effective way to exercise. This mindful approach can also help your mental wellbeing and can help you better cope with unwanted stress and tension.
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga consists of a series of long held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body: the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. A yoga class uses physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve overall health. The ultimate goal of yoga is to achieve control over the body and mind, leading to harmony, balance, and self-awareness.
Water Workout
A low impact but high intensity water aerobics class where no swimming skills are needed. This class is designed to improve flexibility, range of motion, strength, muscle tone, and cardiovascular endurance while using the resistance of the water to cushion the feet, knees, and back.
Balance
Balance is a rejuvenating, full-body fitness class that fuses the best of yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilates to boost flexibility, build a stronger core, and restore inner calm. Guided by an inspiring soundtrack, you’ll flow through graceful stretches and empowering movements that connect breath and body, leaving you refreshed, focused, and centred. Circuits
A structured exercise class where you perform a series of different exercises back-to-back with minimal rest, targeting multiple muscle groups and combining strength and cardio.
