Our School community continues to thrive, with new initiatives, reunions, and opportunities to reconnect, get involved, and stay close to Charterhouse.
OC Netball
A new opportunity to reconnect, stay active, and enjoy some friendly competition is coming to Charterhouse this September.
We hope to launch a fortnightly netball session for Old Carthusians and parents, beginning on Tuesday 8 September in the Charterhouse Sports Centre from 6.30-7.30pm.
Whether you are a seasoned player or simply keen to get back on court, all abilities are welcome. The aim is to create a relaxed and sociable environment where members of the Charterhouse community can come together regularly for enjoyable exercise and good company.
If you are interested in taking part, or would like to learn more, please contact Zara Howard (L89) via Charterhouse Connect. We hope to gather enough players to get this up and running and look forward to seeing many of you there.

The Charterhouse Community Book Club
Tuesday 29 September 2026
Our popular Book Club returns in September, with members exploring two titles over the summer and into early autumn: My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante and Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes.
Ferrante’s novel offers a vivid portrayal of friendship and ambition in 1950s Naples, while Cervantes’ classic combines humour and poignancy through the enduring adventures of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. This extended reading period provides the opportunity to enjoy both a contemporary favourite and a more ambitious literary classic.
The Book Club remains a welcoming space for discussion, whether you have read one or both of the selected titles.
